In 2019, as an independent charity, we depend on funding to keep our doors open year in, year out.
  • Amount: £250

    This funding was awarded in June 2019, and allowed us to buy craft materials for our popular Afterschool Club.
  • Amount: £3,000

    This funding was awarded in November 2019, and will help us to start a new weekly social and luncheon group for older people in the local area for the next twelve months.
  • Amount: £1,000

    Tesco Bags of Help funding was awarded inJanuary 2019. The grant will be used to create a new Sugarcraft and Socialise group, which will bring together local people who may be experiencing loneliness, low self-esteem and confidence who want to improve their wellbeing. Sugar crafting was a popular choice from those we spoke to; starting in September 2019 and open to all.
  • Amount: £11,200

    This funding was awarded in July 2019 and will help us to employ our Centre Support Worker for another twelve months from November 2019. This postholder is an integral part of our staff team, covering all aspects of reception, room bookings, office assistance and helping in the planning and delivery of projects throughout the year.
  • Amount: £2,000

    This funding was awarded in November 2019 , and will enable us to start a new 12-month 'cooking on a budget' project to local residents in Spring 2020.
  • Amount: £1,500

    This funding was awarded in July 2019 and was used to continue the refurbishment of one of our busiest multi-purpose meeting rooms within the Centre. The grant allowed us to purchase a range of new furniture and multimedia equipment so we can better facilitate meetings and event
