COVID-19 UPDATE: New Local Restrictions!
Park Farm Community Centre will remain open for the majority of groups after the new local restrictions come into force at midnight on Saturday 3rd October.
All of our activities are risk assessed and have increased safety measures in place: (1) social distancing between households (Remember, one alone person is classed as a household). (2) wearing of face coverings, (3) test and trace (4) hand sanitising stations (5) multiple entry and exit points, (6) increased cleaning schedules (7) improved ventilation where possible and (8) reduced numbers within activities.
During all activity sessions, we have arranged for, and instructed all visitors to maintain 2m distancing; wearing of face coverings is now mandatory too, if you can.
There is no (and should be no) 'mixing', 'mingling' or 'socialising' between households; in effect, this means engaging in interactions with people where there is no social distancing or wearing of face coverings.
We understand and appreciate that the new restrictions and guidance has led to a lot of confusion.
Ultimately, all citizens have a duty of care to themselves, their families and their wider community to assess whether undertaking or participating in any non-essential activities is wise during this public health crisis.
