In 2018, as an independent charity, we depend on funding to keep our doors open year in, year out.
  • Amount: £8,797

    This funding was awarded in September 2018 Mand used to refurbish one of our busiest multi-purpose meeting rooms within the Centre. The project goal was to improve our facilities so they could be used by a wider variety of groups from the local community. Works included a complete re-plastering of the walls, full redecoration, laying of a new hard-wearing floor, and installation of bespoke sound-proof kitchen shutters.

    This funding was awarded in July 2019 and was used to continue the refurbishment of one of our busiest multi-purpose meeting rooms within the Centre. The grant allowed us to purchase a range of new furniture and multimedia equipment so we can better facilitate meetings and event

    This funding was awarded in August 2018 and has been one of the biggest achievements so far for Park Farm ACYP. It enables us to employ a full time Centre Coordinator to expand our current work, develop new activities and extend opening hours, and cover many running costs. The funding also allows us to employ a part-time Caretaker & Maintenance Assistant who will be integral in ensuring that the building is well cared for and staffed during the evening.

    This funding was awarded in January 2018 over the span of twelve months. The Co-op Local Community Fund helped raise much needed support for our Fit Forever Over 60s group which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of older people in our community. The grant was used to cover the cost of venue hire which helped keep the group running and continues to!
  • Amount: £4,460

    This funding was awarded in November 2018 and helped us to create a new 12-week arts and crafts course: Carr Mill Connects with Art, which runs throughout the year, every Wednesday from 12pm-2pm. The course has four themes and is aimed at adults who want to improve their creative skills and enjoy the benefits of a friendly social group
