As an independent charity, we depend on funding to keep our doors open year in, year out. Here are successful funding bids we have secured. Bids take a long time to put together and maintain — it is a never-ending process of applying and monitoring — but without this vital work, we would not be here.

This funding was awarded in November 2019 , and will help us to start a new weekly social and luncheon group for older people in the local area for the next twelve months.
This funding was awarded in November 2019 , and will allow us to teach attendees of our Youth Club to cook, giving them a skill for life which will help families eat more healthily, budget and get a sense of achievement that they have created meals themselves.

This funding was awarded in July 2019 and will help us to employ our Centre Support Worker for another twelve months from November 2019. This postholder is an integral part of our staff team, covering all aspects of reception, room bookings, office assistance and helping in the planning and delivery of projects throughout the year.
This funding was awarded in June 2019 , and allowed us to buy craft materials for our popular Afterschool Club.
This funding was awarded in April 2019 and will sustain our very popular Afterschool Club and School Holiday Breakfast & Playscheme for 48 weeks of the year for the next three years. We recognise that there is very little for children and young people to do in the area where we are based. To further the development and education of our local children and young people by providing fun, engaging leisure time will help participants to flourish positively as individuals and members of society and that conditions of life within our community improve.
Tesco Bags of Help funding was awarded in January 2019 . The grant will be used to create a new Sugarcraft and Socialise group, which will bring together local people who may be experiencing loneliness, low self-esteem and confidence who want to improve their wellbeing. Sugar crafting was a popular choice from those we spoke to; starting in September 2019 and open to all.
