In May 2020, we were awarded £5,000 to deliver a 6-week project to assist in these relief efforts for the people of Carr Mill, Clinkham Wood and Moss Bank. 95% of this money was spent on six in-bulk food orders from Aldi Stores in Newton-le-Willows. The rest covered our volunteers’ travel costs, cardboard boxes, bags and printing.We would like to thank all of the new volunteers who have supported us over the past six weeks. 12 local people responded to our call for help and freely gave their time, energy and community spirit to help alleviate the impact of the virus.As a recipient, many of you have provided some lovely feedback which has certainly inspired and warmed their hearts.
