About Us

Hi, I have lived on the estate for 15 years with my husband and three children. I have always been passionate in enriching children's lives. I originally qualified as a teacher, however after working in that field for several years, I realised that taking on a more pastoral role with children and young people suited me much better. I believe that is where my skills are needed. I absolutely love my job and working with those living in Clinkham Wood is very fulfilling! Children often get a bad reputation and I want to try and change that. Ultimately, the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow.

I hope to build relations in the local community and look forward to working alongside an inspiring group of individuals.

During my spare time you will find me walking my gorgeous Labrador Poppy and tending my garden.

Hello, My name is Dawn, I Have lived here all my life and my children have accessed the centre for various different groups. I have always worked in domestics and since having my daughter the job at Park Farm was perfect. Whilst in relativily new to the role,I love it.

I work in the After School Club and I have recently started to work in the Youth Project, I have worked at Park Farm for a year. I am a big formula one fan and love watching it!!!

I also work in a local Playgroup.

Hi my name is Shannon and I am a youth worker. I work at all of our youth projects. I particularly enjoy working with the younger groups like Park Farm Pickup and Afterschool Club. I love watching all the children grow in confidence when attending our setting and knowing I am a part of that is amazing. I have worked here for about 3 years, and previously attended as a young person myself. I have been involved for over 10 years. I like that I can work with children off my own estate, as an act of giving back. I am currently studying biology, chemistry, religion & ethics, and maths. It is as complicated as it sounds but it keeps me busy. I love that even after the hardest days at college I can come into work and the children manage to make me smile every time! I am hoping to go on to study medicine at university.

Hello, I am Peter Bold and I am the dinosaur of the organisation having been involved since the incorporation of the charitable company which operates the centre. I have been involved in working with young people from the local area since 1994 and have been a keen supporter of the Saints since 1956. Told you I was a dinosaur.

Hi my name's Tracy Dickinson and I am a local councillor for the Moss Bank ward, and a trustee of the charity. Aside from my love of people and the community, I adore animals and have 3 dogs, 1 cat and a Shetland Pony! You will find me mucking in in every respect. Volunteering is a passion of mine, as is uplifting the community spirit.

I have been part of the local community for over thirty years and volunteered my time to support children in the Merseyside area for the last 20 years.

After a brief sabbatical from my last volunteering role I decided I would help bring some direction to our local community and its hub Park Farm.

I am a family man who enjoys cooking, keeping fit and watching live music.

I was first involved in this community centre in the early 90s, back in the days when it was known as the "Black House", and when I was just in my teens. Fast forward 20 or so years, and I am back here giving my time and energy to our community once again. I truly believe Park Farm has a big and bright future at the centre of this community for years to come.

When I do have some spare time between volunteering at Park Farm and my full time IT jobs, I enjoy travelling. One trip that comes to mind as I write this is a weekend I once when in the town of Chernobyl, a holiday like no other. I also enjoy flying around the county side on my paramotor, high above the clouds with my music in my ears.

Trisha is our local councillor, elected in 2018, and our newest Director. She brings over thirty years' experience of working with children, young people and adults in education settings. She lives with her husband and Leo, her much loved rescue dog, and enjoys looking after her two year old grandson, Nathaniel. When she's got time, she enjoys pottering about in the garden and helping out with the Friends of Clinkham Wood conservation group.
