For almost twelve months, the lovely Carly Quinn (of The Vision CIC) collaborated with us here at the Centre to raise funds for a very heartfelt cause. H Fest was developed, and became a charity fun/wellbeing festival in memory of two very special people to Carly (a local to Moss Bank) who fought a courageous battle against cancer. The day was about ‘living the life you dreamed’ in memory of Helen Quinn & Hannah Black.

The event raised money for Willowbrook Hospice, and to support vulnerable children and young people in our community (including Park Farm Community Centre), and to show gratitude to those people who go the extra mile.

Thank you to every single person who made the day one to remember. The incredible stewards, activities, photographer, videographer & performers who all volunteered their time & skills. Some of whom were there for 12 hours!

Thank you to all of those who donated tombola, raffle & bingo prizes. We had so many happy people who won something & the prizes were just incredible.

The day was about celebrating our loved ones who may not be with us in person but are 100% guiding us & shining down on us every single day.

The event raised over £7,000 for incredible charities. Willowbrook Hospice who do the most heart warming work for those who have life limiting conditions, Park Farm Community Centre who Carly lovingly described as “doing amazing work to support children, young people & adults particularly with their emotional health”.

Helen & Hannah, aka the H in H Fest will always have a purpose in this world, which is to make the world a better place.
