In 2018, the Centre was awarded financial support from The National Lottery’s Community Fund which will help to sustain and develop our wonderful community centre for the next five years. With this, we began a partnership with The Women’s Organisation in Liverpool, who we commissioned to evaluate the impact of our project. This work led to a new and exciting opportunity this year. Maggie O’Carroll, Chief Executive, met with us in September 2019 to discuss our visions for building regeneration.
In December 2020 and January 2021 we asked our user groups and local people to complete our Covid-19 Impact survey, to help us find out about your experiences throughout the pandemic and how it has affected people in our local community.
The staff and volunteers at the Centre are pleased to announce that we have started a brand-new networking opportunity to improve the lives of people living in Carr Mill, Clinkham Wood and Moss Bank. .
What changed for the residents of Carr Mill, Clinkham Wood & Moss Bank?
Towards the end of 2020, following the coronavirus pandemic, we put a call out to our community to tell us how their lives had changed and been impacted by such an unforeseen challenge to our wider health and wellbeing, as individuals and as a society.
